RENOVATION – DECORATION
Vaison-la-Romaine
250 m² · 2 years, in several phases
A property made up of three spaces — the main house, the gîte and the poolhouse — renovated in two phases: the gîte and poolhouse first, followed by the main house.
PHASE 1 — The gîte and the poolhouse

The gîte — bedrooms
These bedrooms were entirely renovated and decorated with care, favouring high-end materials and furniture to offer a unique, welcoming experience.
- Floor and paint refresh: throughout the bedrooms (the bathrooms were not part of the works).
- ARTE wall coverings: refined wallpapers that bring elegance and character to each space.
- Provençal furniture: timeless pieces given a fresh twist to blend harmoniously into modern, sophisticated interiors.
- Premium hotel-style bedding: for optimal comfort and a restful night’s sleep worthy of the finest addresses.
- Bespoke bed linen and curtains: high-quality textiles designed to enhance the decor while creating a cosy atmosphere.
Our team led the whole project, from renovating the spaces to the final decoration, for a result that is coherent from top to bottom.

The gîte — living room
In this gîte, every square inch was designed to offer guests a pleasant experience, combining conviviality and practicality.
- Clever reorganisation: the furniture was arranged to create two distinct areas — a cosy lounge corner with a TV, and a convivial dining corner.
- Smooth circulation: the layout was designed not to obstruct the essential passageways to the upstairs, the kitchen and the entrance.
- Visual harmony: furniture and accessories chosen to blend perfectly into the space, creating a welcoming, functional atmosphere.

The gîte — kitchen
A genuine refresh for this kitchen: repainting the existing units, complemented by additional storage furniture and shelving for greater everyday functionality.

The poolhouse
This poolhouse was redesigned to combine comfort, practicality and style, while blending perfectly with its surroundings.
- Creation of a proper kitchen: a full culinary space, including an authentic braai, ideal for convivial moments.
- Noise reduction: specific fittings to sound-insulate the pool plant room and ensure better acoustic comfort — technical know-how in service of everyday wellbeing.
- Modernised shower/toilet area: renovated for a contemporary design and optimised functionality, with added clever storage solutions.
- Additional opening: a new opening created to make the most of the view and provide direct access to the adjoining terrace.

PHASE 2 — The main house

Floors and walls
Travertine flooring laid throughout the house. All walls were smoothed to remove the old “papier-mâché”-style textured render and achieve a smoother surface, in keeping with the character of an older house. A bespoke unit with coordinated wallpaper was built to conceal the air conditioning pipework.

The bathroom
- A bespoke shower screen, in fluted glass and brass, paired with a claw-foot bathtub repositioned within the room.
- Bespoke furniture created to house the washing machine and tumble dryer.
- All in a style where Art Deco meets Provençal spirit.

The bedroom
- Fully bespoke headboard.
- Premium hotel-style bedding.
- Elitis wallpaper.

The toilets
Retro-style sanitary ware, in keeping with the Art Deco/Provençal identity of the rest of the house.

The result? A project carried out in several phases, where every space — gîte, poolhouse and main house — benefits from the same level of quality and consistency.
